My brother said my astro photos were just pretty pictures
We were looking at my shot of the Orion Nebula from last month, and he goes, 'Cool, but what am I actually looking at?' I tried to explain it was a star factory, but he just shrugged. It hit me that I never really learn the science behind the targets I shoot. Now I feel like I'm missing the whole point. Anyone else get stuck just chasing the image and not the story?
