My astro group fights over editing: do it all by hand or use quick tools?

I get why purists hate auto-edit, but it's so easy, what's your take?

If the end result looks good, does the method really matter?

What happens when the method causes problems you can't see right away? A good result now might fall apart later if the way you got there was careless or hurt someone else. It's like using a cheap fix that looks okay but rots the whole structure from the inside. Doesn't that hidden damage matter too?

Yeah I used to think that way too, but @oscar_rivera95 has a point. A good result built on a bad method is just a ticking time bomb.
