I used to just snap astro photos and move on - now I stack and I'm never going back

For 2 years I would take maybe 20 shots of the Orion Nebula, pick the best one, and call it a night. Then last December a guy at a local star party showed me his stacked and processed version of the same target from his backyard. I spent the next 3 weeks learning DeepSkyStacker and now I combine at least 60 frames every session. Have any of you had that moment where a single image completely changed how you shoot?

Stacking isn't just about noise reduction, it reveals details you literally cannot see in a single frame.
