Finally took the feedback to stop over-processing my nebula shots

Someone on this sub told me my Orion nebula looked like a cartoon because I kept pushing the saturation too hard. I backed off by about 40% on the color curve in PixInsight and the natural dust lanes showed up way better. Anyone else get that kind of critique and actually saw improvement?

Same here, backing off the sliders made a huge difference on my last edit.

Yeah the "looks like a cartoon" critique hit me too, made me rethink everything lol.
