Chose a used 8 inch dob over a new 6 inch refractor last month and got my best shot of Saturn yet
Picked the dob for the light gathering in my light polluted backyard in Boise, and after two weeks of fighting with collimation I finally got a clean Cassini division at 200x, so now I'm wondering if anyone else has made the small scope tradeoff and regretted it.
