Back when I used to just post my shots and get no feedback at all

I used to just upload my astro shots and get like 2 upvotes with no comments, then this one person said my stars looked like little donuts because my focus was slightly off. Turns out I was using the wrong zoom setting on my Bahtinov mask the whole time. Has anyone else had a random comment that actually fixed a problem you didn't know you had?

Did you ever figure out the right Bahtinov setting or just start winging it? Fixing that one thing completely changed how sharp my stars came out.
