A guy at the star party in Tucson pointed out my focus was soft on every shot, and he was right
I shoot with a 135mm lens on a tracking mount and last month at a star party near Tucson a guy looked at my laptop screen and said my stars looked like little fuzzy cotton balls, not points. He showed me how to use a Bahtinov mask and now my focus takes about 30 seconds instead of me guessing with the live view for 10 minutes. Do you all use a mask or do you have another trick that works better on short lenses?
