Just hit my 150th dig site yesterday
Started counting sites back in 2008 near Santa Fe. That number surprised me. 150 different places I've put a shovel in the ground. Most were small test pits. Maybe 12 were full excavations. Not bad for a weekend warrior who works at a car dealership. Anyone else keep a running count of sites they've worked?

Hold on, 150 sites but only 12 full digs sounds more like a lot of holes rather than a lot of real experience. Your mileage may vary, but quality over quantity has always mattered more to me.

Exactly how many of those 150 sites had actual structures worth digging versus just scattered pottery shards?
