I finally found the missing piece of a Roman floor mosaic after 3 days of searching

We were excavating a villa near Naples and had a 2 meter square section with a clear pattern except for one corner tile that just wasn't there. I spent three full days carefully sifting through the spoil heap by hand before spotting it in a bucket of soil we'd almost discarded. Has anyone else had a single artifact take multiple days to locate on a dig?

Spent a week looking for a single coin once, found it in my own boot tread lol. That relief when you finally spot it is unreal.
