Was totally against using a pole pruner until I borrowed my neighbor's Silky last month
I always thought pole pruners were just for lazy people who didn't want to climb. But I had this one oak branch over my shed that was maybe 25 feet up and just out of reach of my ladder. Borrowed my neighbor's 12 foot Silky pole saw and had it cleaned up in about 10 minutes. Has anyone else had a tool they swore they'd never use that ended up saving your back?

Isn't it funny how the right tool can make you feel kind of dumb for avoiding it all those years? I was the same way with a cordless impact driver, thought my drill was fine for everything until I tried one and realized how much easier it made driving long screws. Now I'm wondering what else I've been stubborn about for no good reason...
