That one Tuesday where everything went right on a big oak removal

Had a 36 inch red oak come down in a tight backyard in Portland last spring. No room for a crane, had to rig it all by hand. Crew was small, just me and two guys I'd only worked with a few times. Every piece we cut landed exactly where I wanted, no fence damage, no lawn divots, no close calls. Finished in 5 hours for a job I budgeted 8 for. The homeowner even came out with iced tea at the end. Not trying to brag but that day felt like a glitch in the matrix. Has anyone else had a job that just flowed like that out of nowhere?

The "glitch in the matrix" thing is real. I had a buddy who did a big maple removal in a super tight spot, and he said the same thing happened to him. Every branch just dropped perfect, no cleanup hassle, done way under time.
