Ngl, that $600 throwline launcher paid for itself in one rainy week

Tbh I was on the fence about it. My old method was just chucking a bag up there and praying. Got stuck in low branches, tangled in the canopy, wasted 20 minutes every climb. Then we had that storm come through Greenville and I had three jobs where the crown was a mess. Launched the line clean on the first try, every tree, even in the gusty wind. Climbing time cut down so much I finished two days early. If you do removals in dense oaks, it's worth it. Anyone else found gear that seems pricey but actually saves your back?

Same here, that thing is a total game changer after a storm rolls through. Mine paid for itself the first time I didn't have to wrestle a line through wet tangled branches for an hour.
