I always thought tree injections were a gimmick until last summer

A severely infected elm that bounced back after treatment proved me wrong.

Saw an article about it saving historic oaks downtown.

That's a great point from @fisher.taylor. Those downtown oaks are a perfect example. The injections can get the treatment right into the tree's system, which is key for fighting things like borers or specific root fungi that sprays can't touch. It really is a targeted tool for serious cases.
