That homeowner callout changed how I diagnose dryers
Had a guy in Phoenix yell at me for 10 minutes because I swapped his thermal fuse without checking the vent first. Said I was just throwing parts at it. Now I always pull the vent hose and run a quick airflow check before touching anything else on a dryer call. Anyone else had a customer call them out like that?

Pride's a hell of a thing, man - gets in the way of fixing the real problem every time.

Gotta push back a little though - sometimes a bit of pride is what keeps people from settling. If you're too quick to give in, you end up with a half-baked fix that doesn't actually solve anything.
