Pro tip: I heard a customer say they fixed their own dryer with a YouTube video and a $15 part

I was at a supply house in Springfield last week and overheard a guy bragging to the clerk. He said his dryer stopped heating, so he watched a video and replaced the thermal fuse himself. It worked, and he saved a ton of money. It got me thinking, we're seeing this more and more. In the last year, I've probably had three calls a month where someone tried a DIY fix first and made things worse. It's a real double-edged sword. How do you guys handle a job when a customer has already been inside the machine?
