Hot take: I cleaned condenser coils from the top for 10 yrs and it was pointless
Used to hit every fridge coil from above with a brush and call it done. Took a call in Mesa last month where the thing ran nonstop and the top looked spotless. Pulled the toe grille and the front coil face was packed with a mat of pet hair like felt, maybe 3/8 inch thick. Air pulls in the front and out the back on most of these units, so the top brush stroke hits the exhaust side and does almost nothing. Bought a $22 coil brush with a long bend and a cheap shop vac crevice tool and now the amp draw drops right after. Do you all pull the fridge out to clean the front face, or am I late to this?
