My little countertop bin just filled its 10th bag of finished compost

I started with a small plastic bin and a bag of shredded paper six months ago. I honestly didn't think it would work in my 700-square-foot place. The moment I emptied that 10th bag into my plant pots, it hit me how much waste I've kept out of the trash. Has anyone else been surprised by how much compost a small setup can make?

Yeah, they really took off once I got the watering right. I found giving them a deep soak twice a week, @abby_singh, worked way better than a little water every day. The roots grew deeper and the leaves got much bigger.
