My bokashi bin started leaking on the kitchen floor

Honestly, I was just about to add some coffee grounds to my bokashi bucket yesterday when I noticed a weird puddle. The spigot on the bottom had come loose somehow, and about a cup of that pre-compost tea had leaked onto the linoleum. I had to quickly move it to the sink, clean up the mess with some vinegar water, and tighten the spigot back up. Has anyone else had a bokashi bucket leak, and how do you make sure the spigot stays put?

Ugh, why even use the spigot?

Been there, it's the worst. A little plumber's tape on the spigot threads can help a lot.
