If you can handle a micromanaging boss, you can handle a compost bin

I swear, dealing with my compost is SIMPLER than dealing with office drama every day. People in apartments act like it's rocket science, but it's just breaking down food scraps. When I started working from home, I saw how my kitchen waste piled up, so I got a small bin. Now, turning my coffee grounds into soil feels more rewarding than finishing a report. If you can organize your work tasks, you can layer greens and browns without a fuss. Don't overthink it, just start like you would a new project at work.

You're right about it just being breaking down food scraps. I use an old plastic tub with holes poked in it for my coffee grounds and eggshells. It's less drama than my last team meeting, honestly.

Man, it's wild how the most simple, hands-on tasks can feel so sane. Like, fixing a wobbly table leg or watching a pot of water boil. There's a clear cause and a clear fix, zero office politics. Composting is just another one of those. You put scraps in, you get dirt out. The rules make sense, unlike whatever new policy just came down from HR.
