Heard my neighbor's bin bubbling like crazy through the wall last night

I was trying to sleep around 11pm and could hear this loud gurgling sound from my neighbor's apartment through the shared wall. Turns out she's been using way too much water in her worm bin and the drainage is backing up into a slimy mess. Has anyone else dealt with noisy or overflow issues from a neighbor's setup?

Gonna push back a little here. Worm bins bubble and gurgle sometimes, that's just how they work when things are breaking down properly. Sounds like her bin is actually doing its job, just maybe needs a bit more drainage holes or a tray adjustment. Honestly, 11pm is late for noise complaints but if it's a shared wall situation, some sound is just part of apartment life. Maybe offer to help her tweak the setup instead of letting it become a whole thing.

Right, nothing says "good neighbor" like a midnight gurgling worm farm lullaby. She should lean into it and start charging for the ASMR experience.
