Had my worm bin tip over while I was at work and now I line the bottom with hardware cloth
Came home to a trail of castings and 50 red wigglers crawling across my kitchen floor, so I cut a piece of 1/4 inch mesh to fit under the bin and it's kept everything stable even when I bump it.

Man, 50 wigglers on the floor isn't even that bad compared to what happened to my buddy Tim last summer. He knocked over a full 5-gallon bucket of European nightcrawlers in his garage and didn't find half of them for like two weeks. They got into his tool drawers, under the freezer, even somehow ended up dried out in his shoe. By the time he cleaned it all up, he was finding crispy little worm bodies everywhere for months. Trust me, 50 wigglers is a Tuesday afternoon cleanup.
