Bokashi vs worm bin for small apartment balconies

I tried both in my 400 square foot place over 6 months and the Bokashi was way less smelly and didn't attract fruit flies, plus it broke down meat scraps the worms wouldn't touch, anyone else have better luck with one method?

Gave up on the worm bin after finding a whole colony of fruit flies having a house party in it... Bokashi's just easier for a tiny balcony, honestly. The worms were picky eaters and the smell started drifting into my bedroom no matter what I did. Sold the whole worm setup on Craigslist and never looked back.
