That $15 vintage level turned out to be a $200 lesson
Picked up an old brass level at a flea market outside Nashville, looked straight and felt solid. Got it home and checked it against my new one, it was off by a full bubble. Spent the whole weekend hanging shelves and frames before I realized the issue. Anyone else ever bought a vintage tool that looked fine but was secretly useless?
