Stop calling every old metal thing 'cast iron' when it's clearly pressed steel
I see people drop $40 on rusty stamped steel trays and lanterns at the Ohio Valley flea market because the seller says cast iron, and you can tell it's not by the seam lines and how light it feels. Real cast iron has a rough pebbled skin and no weld marks, and a magnet plus a quick scratch test on the bottom tells you in two seconds. How many of you actually carry a magnet when you dig through booths?
