Tbh, my Jujutsu Kaisen watch party got ruined by a spoiler from a YouTube thumbnail

We were at my apartment in Chicago, and someone's phone lit up with a video titled 'Gojo's Death Scene Explained'. Honestly, has anyone found a good way to block those without just avoiding the internet?

Honestly, I just curate my feeds pretty hard. I unsubscribed from a bunch of anime channels and told YouTube 'not interested' on those explainer videos for a week. It's not perfect, but my homepage is mostly car repair videos now. The algorithm can only push what you've shown interest in, right?

Feels like spoilers are just part of the air we breathe now. I can't even check the weather on my phone without some news alert giving away a show's finale. It happened with that last Marvel movie, the trailer basically showed the whole plot. You have to go full hermit mode to avoid it, and that's just not realistic. The algorithm wants to show you the most shocking thing first, so it wins and your watch party loses.

Maybe we take these shows too seriously anyway.
