Shoutout to that one subreddit thread that saved my whole binge week

Last Tuesday I was three episodes into a 12-episode mecha show and the pacing just fell apart, I almost dropped it. Then I found this old forum post where someone broke down the exact filler episodes to skip and which order to watch the OVAs in. I followed their list for Saturday and it turned into the best marathon I've had in months, no burnout at all. Has anyone else ever had a fan-made watch order completely fix a series for you, or am I just easily swayed?
