My little brother just discovered Attack on Titan from 2013 and thinks it's brand new
I was showing him some old clips and he had no idea this show has been around for over a decade now. It got me thinking about how the animation quality back then compared to today's stuff, especially in action scenes. Has anyone else had that moment where you realize how much the industry has shifted in just 10 years?

Man I feel so old when I think about my own discoveries from back then. I remember thinking AoT was the most insane looking thing I'd ever seen, and now the standards have shot up so high that even the clunky 3D titan movement feels dated. The fact that your brother thinks it's a new show is hilarious because that's exactly how I was when I discovered Dragon Ball Z on Toonamai as a kid, totally convinced it had just dropped. Guess we're all just passing the torch of being embarrassingly late to the party.
