I finally gave dubs a real shot and it actually worked

For years I was one of those subs-only people, thought dubs were always trash. But last month my friend at a local anime meetup in Austin made me watch the first 3 episodes of Cyberpunk Edgerunners in English dub. The voice acting was so good for characters like Lucy and Maine that I actually switched to dubs for that whole show. Has anyone else changed their mind on dubs after a bad experience with one show ruined it for them?

I was so stubborn about subs I almost missed out on Lucy's badass voice acting.

Oh man, same here! I was totally anti-dub until Cyberpunk.
