Had to pick between subbed and dubbed for Attack on Titan season 2

I watched season 1 dubbed and liked it fine, but then I heard the Japanese voice actors brought way more emotion. So I switched to subbed for season 2 and stuck with it for about 4 episodes. The screaming and crying scenes hit way harder in Japanese, but I kept missing details because I was reading the subtitles. Has anyone else gone through this switch and stuck with one side?

Eren's scream in episode 1 subbed made me never look back at the dub.

I get why people love the subbed version, @the_abby, but the dub has its own charm. Eren's scream in the dub hits different for me, it feels more raw. I still watch both ways depending on my mood.
