Had a guy on an anime forum tell me I was sleeping on 90s OVAs and now I've watched 12 of them in 3 weeks
He specifically said I was missing the point of the medium by only watching modern seasonal stuff, and after checking out stuff like Giant Robo and Key the Metal Idol I totally get what he meant about the pacing and art direction being totally different.
