Went to a comic book store once where this old guy tried explaining why his favorite Silver Age hero could beat modern versions. Twenty minutes later he was still going, pacing around the shop, waving his arms. The owner just kept ringing people up like it happened every day. By the end he had a small crowd, some nodding, some trying to argue back, and one kid who just wanted to buy a Funko Pop. I slipped out after grabbing my pull list, left them all in there debating who would win in a fight between a guy with super speed and a guy with a magic ring.
