Dub of Attack on Titan S4 part 2 really changed my view on subs

I know everyone online swears by subs, but last month I watched the official English dub for Attack on Titan season 4 part 2 on Crunchyroll and I honestly think Eren's VA brings more raw fear and anger to the table. Three years ago I would have rolled my eyes at that, but after hearing the line delivery in episode 87 around the table scene, I felt it hit harder than the Japanese version. The sub purists act like it's a crime to enjoy dubs, but has anyone else actually given the recent Funimation dubs a fair shot or am I alone here?

Why would you watch a dub when the original voice work is already perfect?
