Crunchyroll's subtitles got completely rewritten after that one con panel in 2019

I was at Anime Expo when a translator stood up and called out the company for using machine translation on older shows, and now I can't unsee the difference between the old script and the new one. Which side do you think matters more for a dub watcher, accuracy or flow of dialogue?

Dragon Ball Z's old dub proves flow wins because nobody cared about accuracy back then.

Yeah but people definitely cared about accuracy back then... just not as much as flow.
