Changed my mind about spoiler culture after a convo at a coffee shop

I used to think spoiler warnings were for people who were too slow to watch things. Then I was at The Daily Grind in Chicago, talking about the new Jujutsu Kaisen arc with a friend. He said, 'I'm still catching up, but I heard a big thing happens to Gojo.' He didn't say what, but just knowing something was coming totally changed how I watched the next five episodes. I was looking for clues instead of just enjoying it. Now I get why people ask for warnings. Has anyone else had a spoiler ruin a show for them, even a vague one?

Honestly, spoiler warnings just make people too sensitive about stories now.

What about spoilers that are just wrong? Saw a fake one for a show that sent me looking for stuff that wasn't even there. @tyler_hernandez might call it being sensitive, but it really does mess with your head. That fake spoiler made me watch the whole season wrong, waiting for a twist that never came. It's not about being slow, it's about getting to have the real experience.
