Binged dub for 12 episodes, then the sub made me rewatch all of it

My crunchyroll queue broke at episode 5 last Tuesday, so I switched to the sub as a stopgap and caught a joke the dub totally buried, has anyone else had a whole rewatch forced on them by one clumsy translation moment?

Kinda disagree there, most dubs are done with the original script in front of them, so a buried joke usually means it just doesn't land in English, not that the translator missed it. Your mileage may vary, but I'd blame the timing or delivery before blaming the line itself.
