Binge watched 4 seasons of Haikyuu in one week and my sleep schedule is ruined
Honestly I started last Monday just to see what the hype was about and now it's Sunday and I've burned through all 4 seasons plus the movies. The rally in season 3 against Shiratorizawa had me literally standing up in my living room at 2 AM yelling at my TV. I told my coworker Dave about it and he just laughed and said he did the same thing last year with the manga. The problem is now I can't stop recommending it to everyone I meet, even my mom who hates sports. I even caught myself practicing the high five scene with my dog, which was pretty sad honestly. Anyone else ever gone this hard on a sports anime and then had to explain why you're so tired at work?

Went through the exact same thing with Kuroko no Basket last year. My eyes were basically squares and I kept muttering "zone" under my breath at work. The worst part was trying to explain to my roommate why I cheered when a fictional character did a jump shot, but he gets it. Now whenever I see anyone mention sports anime, I automatically start listing episodes like I'm some kind of sports historian. My dog also got the high five treatment, except he just sniffed my hand and walked away. Zero loyalty, honestly.

Ha! I get the hype but @patricianguyen, for me the zone stuff felt too over the top, the real drama was in the team bonds.
