A guy on a forum roasted my top 10 list in 2016 and I still think about it
Back in 2016 I used to post these long top 10 lists on an old anime forum. Thought I was hot stuff. Then a user named Kenta replied with one line: "You just list shows with no reasons. It's a shopping list." That stung for a week. So I started writing why each pick mattered to me, like what episode or scene hooked me. First try got 3 replies instead of zero. Now I can't write a list without a paragraph under each one, feels weird otherwise. Anyone else get a random comment that rewired how they post?

Man, you let one dude's comment live in your head rent free for almost a decade? It's a top 10 list, not a thesis defense, sometimes people just wanna see the picks without the backstory.
