That first job with a wireless keypad totally flipped my approach

I used to think wired keypads were the only reliable option, but last month I put a Honeywell 5853 wireless keypad in a house with thick plaster walls and it linked up perfectly 50 feet away. The homeowner loved not having to drill any holes, and I saved like 2 hours on labor compared to running wire. Has anyone else found wireless gear to be more solid than they expected on older builds?
