Ran Cat5e on one panel and 22/4 on the next, and I'm never going back to the old wire
Did a 12 zone house in Denver where the homeowner wanted keypads in three rooms, and pulling 22/4 for that setup was a nightmare. Used Cat5e on the follow up job and landing all those wires in the can took me half the time, plus the extra pairs were there when they wanted to add sensors later. Anybody else making the switch or do you still run 22/4 for the simple stuff?
