Put a $300 wireless system in a client's house and the neighbor's garage door opener killed it

I spent a whole Saturday setting up this new panel and motion detectors for a lady over on Maple Street, tested everything twice before I left. Next morning she calls me furious because the alarm keeps going off every time the neighbor comes home and pushes his remote. Has anyone else run into interference from random garage openers or am I just cursed with bad luck?

Wait, you're telling me garage door openers can mess with a $300 security system? I used to think that interference was mostly a wifi or bluetooth thing, not random RF from a neighbor's clicker. But last month I had a buddy's alarm keep tripping every time the mail truck drove by, and it turned out to be some weird frequency overlap with his new key fob. That totally changed my mind about how much cheap wireless gear can get knocked off by everyday stuff. You're not cursed, the neighbor's opener is probably screaming on the same channel as your panel.
