I finally stopped hating on wireless sensors after that school retrofit
I've been a hardwire guy for 15 years, always talked down about wireless stuff. Then I had to do a 40-room school in Columbus where fishing wire would've taken a month. Checked the battery specs on the new Honeywell 5800 series, 7 year rated life, and the signal strength held at 300 feet through block walls. We finished in 6 days instead of 3 weeks and the customer was thrilled. Any of you guys switched over for commercial work or still think hardwire is the only way to sleep at night?

Did the same on an office build, saved a week and passed every check.
