Hot take: keypads on the wall by the front door are the worst spot in the house
I keep seeing guys mount the main keypad right inside the front door like it's 1998, and I get why, it's where the old panels went and the wire is already there. But after ripping out 3 smashed keypads in a month at a rental complex in Reno, I started putting them in the garage entry or hallway instead, and not one has been touched in 2 years. Are you all still running door keypads because that's what customers ask for, or did you switch spots too?
