Guy I trained with in Tulsa said my keypad placement was 'for me, not the customer' and he was right
I used to mount keypads at chest height by the main door because that is where they land in every house I grew up in. A lead installer in Tulsa watched me do it on a job 6 months ago and asked if I had ever tried entering a code while holding two grocery bags. Next house I put it 4 feet up by the garage entry and the homeowner texted me a week later saying her mom could reach it without bending over. Now I walk the entry path first and ask folks which hand they use for the door. Anyone else change their standard mount height after a call like that?
