Honestly this feels like a whole thing now. That air fryer is like the fancy blender someone got for smoothies that just holds fruit, or the bread machine that becomes a bread box. We buy these tools for a single idea of a better life, but the real work is making them part of the daily grind. The gadget ends up as a quiet monument to that gap between the plan and the practice.

Is an unused air fryer really a crime though? Some people just get them as gifts and never figure them out. It's not like it was still in the box with the tags on. Maybe they just use it for fries once a month.
