My neighbor swears you should never preheat an air fryer, but the manual says you should
He said it's a waste of time and energy, but I've found my fries get crispier if I let it run for 3 minutes first. What's your take on the preheat debate?

Honestly this is just like people who skip preheating their oven. The manual exists for a reason, right? Your neighbor is probably the same guy who wings every recipe and wonders why stuff burns.
