My air fryer saved dinner the night the power went out in half the apartment
Last Thursday our building on Vernon Ave lost power for about 4 hours right when I had chicken thighs marinating for guests. My friend Dan grabbed his little 1500W air fryer and plugged it into his car inverter in the parking lot, and we cooked the whole batch in two rounds. Honestly they came out crispy outside and juicy inside, way better than I expected. Now I want to try more stuff this way for camping, so does anyone have low wattage recipes that work on a small inverter?
