Just realized I was crowding my air fryer basket this whole time
I always stuffed my chicken thighs in there like sardines wondering why they came out soggy. Last week I did a single layer with space between each piece and they got that crispy skin in 12 minutes flat. Anyone else make this mistake at first?

Took me way too long to figure that out too. I was out here treating my air fryer like a packed elevator for months.

Okay but what if you actually want it packed tight? I tried making fries last week with way too much space between them and they came out dry and overcooked. Crowding the basket keeps things from drying out too fast, especially with stuff like veggies or chicken wings. You just gotta flip or shake them halfway through.
