Just realized frozen wings beat fresh ones in the air fryer every time

I used to always buy fresh chicken wings from the meat counter, thinking they'd crisp up better. Tbh, they'd always come out a bit chewy or the skin wouldn't get that snap. Then my buddy at work told me to try frozen wings straight out of the bag. Ngl, I thought he was crazy, but after 4 batches I'm completely sold. The ice crystals on frozen wings create extra steam that makes the skin super crispy, and I don't have to pat them dry. I did a side by side with 2 pounds of each and the frozen ones won on texture and time. Has anyone else found a specific frozen brand that works best for you?

Nah I still prefer fresh wings tbh.
