I just made my 50th batch of air fryer chicken wings in a row
I mean, I started doing it once a week as an easy dinner, but I hit 50 last night and it kind of surprised me. I've got the timing down to 22 minutes at 380 degrees, flipping halfway, and they come out perfect every single time. It's become this weird little ritual, and I've tried like six different dry rubs along the way. The number just made me realize how much I lean on my air fryer for stuff I used to deep fry. Has anyone else found one recipe they just keep coming back to over and over?

Totally get that, @sarahjenkins. My air fryer is my kitchen MVP now.

Got me thinking about my instant pot. I used to make a big deal about Sunday gravy, simmering it for hours. Now I just dump a can of crushed tomatoes, some sausage, and spices in that thing for 25 minutes. It's not exactly the same, but it's 90% there for 10% of the work. I feel like these gadgets trick us into having one thing we just nail over and over until it's part of the furniture.
