I bake cakes in my air fryer and folks think I'm nuts

Lots of people here seem to think air fryers are just for reheating fries or doing wings, lol. But I disagree because I've been getting into baking fancy desserts with mine. For example, I tried a lemon drizzle cake a while back and it came out super moist. I also did some mini apple pies that were crispy on the outside. The key is adjusting the temp and time, which isn't as hard as people say it is. Honestly, trying out stuff like this has become my favorite kitchen hobby. You guys should give it a shot instead of sticking to the basics, lmao.

Dude that's wild but low key genius. My neighbor got super into making weird stuff in a waffle iron once, like brownies and pizza pockets, said the same thing about tweaking temps. Honestly people sleep on how flexible some kitchen gadgets are. Got me wondering what else you could bake in an air fryer, like a tiny cheesecake or something. What's the weirdest thing you've tried so far?

You ever think about how air fryers are basically just tiny ovens with a fan? That's why @lee_hernandez66's cheesecake idea could totally work, you just need a small pan that fits. The weirdest thing I did was hard boil eggs in mine, because I was too lazy to get a pot. It sounds crazy but it works, the shells get super easy to peel. The real trick is not being afraid to mess up a batch of something.
